The Only Unforgiveable Sin
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” - 1 John 1:9
Did you know when it comes to the love of the Father, you cannot mess up? That’s right. No matter what you do wrong, He is ready and willing to forgive you. This does not mean that we won’t sin, but what it means is that when we do, the Lord will forgive us.
John tells us so in 1 John 1:9. He says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
So what this means is that no matter what you have done, or will do, if you are willing to confess and repent from your sins, He will forgive you. You cannot “out sin” God. Your sin is not greater than His grace.
There is no sin you can commit that God will not forgive. But I must warn you…there is one way in which God won’t forgive you. You might ask, “Pastor, you just said, it doesn’t matter what I do, God will forgive me.”
He will, but did you catch the first part of the verse? “If we CONFESS our sins.” See, to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, you must admit that you have messed up. You must acknowledge that because of your sin, you are separated from God the Father, and the only way you can experience that relationship with Him is through the cross.
Without that confession, Jesus cannot forgive you. That is the one “unforgivable sin” that can leave you separated from God forever. I am not trying to scare you. But it is the reality.
God is ready and willing to forgive you for everything you’ve ever done. But He can only forgive you once you have confessed your sins. Get right with God today. Tell Him you have messed up and want that relationship with Him. He will forgive you, but you’ve got to confess first!

There IS one sin that can't be forgiven!
Matthew 12:31 says it's blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
If we ignore that still small voice of the Holy Spirit over and over again. If it's tell us to do something, to change something in our lives and we don't listen, if we try to justify why we aren't obeying that voice... that's a sin. Yes, we can repent of it, correct our actions and CONFESS, as you have said here.
PLEASE... tell ALL the truth...we can handle the truth...the whole truth. Don't be afraid . God is using you to bring people to Him.
