Anointed
“But the anointing that you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in Him.” - 1 John 2:27
As a child of God, you are anointed. God has anointed you for a specific purpose, a specific plan, and with specific spiritual gifts. Before you were ever born, God created a destiny for you and the best version of your life is one in which you fulfill that destiny.
It is a destiny only you can fulfill. No one else can do what God has called you to do. God created you with a unique personality, unique characteristics, in a unique environment, with unique life circumstances, all to accomplish His unique purpose for your life.
If we are not careful, the devil will tempt us into believing that there isn’t a great purpose for our life. He will remind us that God is so big and that we are so small. He can deceive us into believing that God wouldn’t use “little old us” to accomplish His great plans.
But that couldn’t be further from the truth. As a child of God, you are anointed. He has chosen you, and He wants you to fulfill the destiny He created you for.
Has God revealed His purpose for your life? Once you know the purpose God has for you, He will reveal His plans (how He wants you to accomplish His purpose). He will also reveal the spiritual gifts He has equipped you with to fulfill those plans.
God has it all thought through. All He needs is your obedience. Do not let the enemy tell you that you are too small. The Bible is full of stories of a big God who does extraordinary things with ordinary people.
There is no limit to what God can and will do in your life. Remember, you are anointed. Are you ready for God to use you for His special purpose?
