No Longer Crippled by Confusion
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints.” - Ephesians 1:17-18
If you are His child, I have good news for you: God’s got you. Over the last few days, we have looked at this idea that when we are in trouble, or when life throws its toughest circumstances in front of us, our Heavenly Father is there. And He’s got you.
Yesterday, we saw the first tangible way in which He’s got us. We are no longer slaves to sin. But He doesn’t stop there. We are also no longer crippled by confusion. You want to be free? Know the truth. John 8:32 says, “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
As believers, we no longer have to live crippled by confusion because Jesus makes His ways known to us. Ephesians 1:17 says, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.”
Through His Word, God has given us all the resources we need to learn the truth. We can know the truth about Him, the truth about our lives, and the truth about His will for our lives. Everything we need to know He will make known to us.
We do not have to live unsure or worried about making the “wrong choice” because God will give us all the information we need. He’s got you. And because He’s got you, you are no longer crippled by confusion!
