What Are You Waiting For?
“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” - Proverbs 27:1
Are you giving God your best? If the answer is no, then what are you waiting for?
From the time you are born, you have a destination that God wants to lead you to. We can call this your potential. From the time you realize what potential is, and who God is, He has a plan and purpose for your life.
God wants you to follow and pursue that purpose in everything you do. That purpose is called His will. There is nothing you can do greater than accomplish the will of God for your life. When you accomplish God’s will, you are living to your potential.
But if not, the question is...why? Why aren’t you living to your potential? Why aren’t you striving to be the best version of yourself? Why aren’t you trying to live out the best version of your life?
That is exactly what God wants for you. He wants to help make you the best version of yourself that you could possibly be. He wants to give you the best version of your life, that you could possibly live.
So, what are you waiting for? When are you going to start pursuing God’s plan and purpose for your life? There are rewards waiting for you on the other side of obedience to Him. That is not why we do it. But you will benefit from following God.
Many people think about following Christ, and they think only of what they might have to sacrifice or give up. But do you not realize there are no greater blessings that you will find than when you are smack dab in the center of God’s will?
So what are you waiting for? God is calling you. He’s ready. When will you be?
