A New Beginning
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” - Isaiah 43:18-19
Are you in need of a new beginning? Maybe life has hit you hard and it has been hitting you hard for quite some time. You continue to deal with the same struggles, the same trials, and the same fights. You wake up every day wishing for a new start, but life just continues on, the same as always.
You’re tired. You’re worn out. You’re tired of fighting the same battles. It feels like you are on a merry-go-round that just keeps spinning in circles. Nothing changes, and you are just stuck in frustration. Perhaps you feel that way right now.
Did you know that the God we serve is a God of new beginnings? That’s right, even though you got yourself into trouble, God can pull you out of it.
It is easy to become frustrated when you keep repeating the same patterns, making the same choices, and seeing the same results. You ask, “God, is this ever going to end? Can I actually change? The life you want me to live... will I ever get there?”
I want to encourage you today that the answer is YES. You will get there. Isaiah 43:18-19 says, “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
It’s time to forget the past and let go of “the way it’s always been.” God wants to do something new in your life. In the blink of an eye, He can change everything. That is the power He holds and as a believer, that is the power within you. Let God start a new beginning in your life today!
